Welcome back wastelanders or anyone who still plays this gem of a game. Fallout 3 is a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC game made in 2008, the game has 4 different DLC. It is a single player experience with much to do with over 163+ locations to explore without DLC but it's worth getting game of the year edition.

Plot

Fallout 3 is the 3rd major installment in the fallout series, the story taking place in ruins of Washington D.C, which is set in the year 2277. The game includes real life locations. Examples being The White House, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorial, Arlington national cemetery, and Washington Monument. Your character spend 19 years of your life, 2258 to 2277. The main story tends to revolve around your mother's bible quote. It is has a full open world from inside the metro tunnels and to enemy infested hotels. Fallout 3 has a great soundtrack to go with it and the ambiance gives that dark vibe that you are on your own from the moment you leave vault 101. It is a very large game when it comes to things to do, you have many opportunities. Quests and other unique things to do beside the main story.

Gameplay

Fallout 3 is very odd about its aim, you can actually ever aim down the sights except with a sniper. The game is somewhat based off hip fire even when you fully aim. But you can have lots of fun with all its weapons. To its Dart Gun which will save your ass if you are up against a deathclaw, a mutated 3 horn chameleon, which is based off real life Jackson's chameleon. Or you can destroy people with a Junk Jet, and make teddy bears the ultimate weapon of destruction. The thing that makes Fallout 3 much more unique than half the games now, is the Karma system. The system goes as : Very good - Good – Neutral – Evil – Very Evil You can have much fun being evil from turning people into slaves, or killing entire cities, or being a hero and stopping a bomb from destroying the first city. Whichever you want to do. You can do whatever you want with tiny pistols to portable nuclear missile launchers.

Final review

Fallout 3 is a fun game to play if you are into first getting into the series if you play on PC. Which is easier than getting is for a Xbox360 or PS3. If you want to play a game to kill time, role play, enjoy yourself, or blow off steam cause someone pissed you off. This is the game to play.
